FAIR ROYALTY

Jennifer Hinkel graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration majoring in Marketing and minoring in Communications with a certificate in Entrepreneurship.

 

Jennifer joined Raymond 4-H in 2010 and was active on the club, county, and state level. To this day, she continues her involvement as a 4-H volunteer. Some of Jennifer’s favorite parts of the Racine County Fair include showing in Junior and Open class, serving as a Racine County 4-H Outstanding Teen, volunteering at the fair including the Farm Bureau stand, winning the Sue Isaacson Memorial Supreme Showman Contest, and being a Racine County Fair summer intern.

 

Her interests include volunteering, woodworking, playing clarinet, and driving horses along with gentling and training wild mustangs.

 

After college graduation, she combined her love for the fair industry, marketing, and agriculture through her job at Wisconsin State Fair as the Agriculture and Communication Coordinator. In addition to working at Wisconsin State Fair, she continues her work within her family’s Christmas tree, pumpkin, and haunted trail businesses where she looks to expand their agritourism business offerings. Her passion for educating others about agriculture helped her reach audiences in 42 states and 3 U.S. territories while serving as the 2020 Wisconsin Honey Queen and 2021 American Honey Queen.

 

The Racine County Fair is what sparked her love for the fair industry, and it is the friendships formed there that make it the best five days of summer!
